BOARD - NATIONAL GOLF HOLDINGS LTD

The Board controls and manages the business and affairs of the Club and makes decisions regarding key strategic and policy matters and all areas which impact the financial affairs of the Club.

Course Committee
A Committee of the Board, that regularly inspects the golf courses and maintains a line of communication with the ground staff.

Audit Committee
A Committee of the Board, the Finance Committee reviews the financial reporting and performance of the Company, its system for internal control, and any issues arising from the external audit.

COMMITTEE - THE NATIONAL GOLF CLUB INC.

The Committee is responsible for, and has the power to make by-laws for, the proper conduct of the Club to provide members with quality golf and fellowship, and to uphold the standards of membership.

Membership Sub-Committee
A Sub-committee of the Committee, the membership sub-committee is responsible for the screening of membership applications, member integration, and code of behaviour.

Match Sub-Committee
A Sub-committee of the Committee, the match sub-committee is responsible for ensuring a high standard of golfing competition and enjoyment.

National Links Panel
A legal body which is responsible for the development guidelines of all land within the National Links development which is outside the areas dedicated to golf.

EXTERNAL REPRESENTATION

Design Review Panel
An advisory committee to the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council to administer the design guidelines for dwellings in the Cape Schanck residential development.

While The National is a public company, we are first and foremost a Club. Demand for membership and shares will be delivered by the desirability and sustainability of the golf experience to our members.

Mission

To deliver first class golfing and related facilities to members.

Delivering a quality golf experience by:

  • Presenting and maintaining our golf courses to first class standards;

 

  • Maintaining high levels of pre and post game service; including:
    • Service levels;
    • Stocking/Sourcing golf related hardware, attire and accessories at competitive prices; and
    • Providing dining options to suit Member need

 

  • Providing practice and coaching facilities consistent with the status of our courses and our Club

Fostering our Club culture;

Maintaining and developing our reputation;

Providing an environment for our staff that enables them to achieve personal excellence and growth; and

Ensuring that at all times we are cost effective and have a strong financial base.
