The National’s Tournament Week 2021 came to an end today with the ever popular Tribal Challenge being played on all three Cape Schanck courses. With the rain holding off, a strong field of 288 players participated; a true indication of this event’s popularity. The format is a combined singles and fourball matchplay giving many players the opportunity to experience a matchplay format in a team environment. Following golf on the Gunnamatta, Old and Moonah Courses the Club’s fantastic lunch presentation was enjoyed by all participants. Congratulations to all the winning tribes today, with a special mention to Simon Cummins’ Peroni’s tribe (Simon pictured below) for having the highest winning percentage of 80.6% for their matches and being the Champion Tribe for 2021.
