Golf Academy

Staff

Our Teaching Professionals have extensive experience in the industry and are focused on delivering outstanding instruction to members.

Members intending on working closely with one of the Club’s PGA Professionals on a regular basis should consider purchasing a lesson package. These packages can be tailored to suit the individual’s needs. Before starting a package or series of lessons it is recommended you undertake an Overall Game Assessment to ensure the package is correctly tailored to you.

Please contact Tim Stone to discuss creating a package appropriate for you.

On Course Tuition

Do you always play better golf on the practice fairway than on the golf course? Or do you have a particular hole that you always struggle to score on? If so, spend some time with one of our PGA Professionals on the course and discover why. Learning on the course allows you to address issues such as bad or uneven lies, course management and strategy, specialty shots and psychology. These are all issues that are better addressed on the golf course than at the practice fairway. On course tuition can range between 4, 9, or 18 holes and can be shared between up to three players at a time.

Please contact Tim Stone to arrange a suitable time to undertake a playing lesson.

Club Fitting

The Club’s club fitters Tim Stone, Andrew Kloprogge and Richard Quested are fully qualified to assist you to find the right equipment to ensure you get the most out of your game. The Club also invites preferred suppliers to conduct demonstration days at Cape Schanck and Long Island for members to trial the latest models on the practice fairway.
